The Verrierdale Tent House is a custom residential canopy structure, designed by Sparks Architects. Fabritecture designed, engineered, and installed the exterior architectural fabric structure over the house.
The house features a retractable ceiling system to fully appreciate the surrounding environment . The walls and doors also manually slide away, allowing an exceptional interaction with nature. The fabric roof shelters the house below from heat, rain, and leaves, while allowing through maximum light.
Ferrari TX30 premium fabric was chosen for its excellent translucency and 20 year manufacturer’s warranty. Structural guy cables with stainless fittings hold large masts in place to support the membrane over the ceiling. 14296
