Fabritecture designed and delivered a bespoke ETFE canopy to provide all-weather protection within a suspended courtyard at a leading university campus in Perth.
Inspired by a concept from TRCB Architects and delivered in collaboration with Hoskins Contracting, the structure offers a lightweight, high-performance solution that enhances the functionality and visual identity of the educational space.
Situated on a suspended slab within a fully enclosed courtyard, the project demanded a highly tailored installation methodology to overcome restricted site access and complex logistics. Custom-engineered weatherflaps were incorporated to elevate climate control without compromising the clarity or elegance of the ETFE membrane.
