Fabritecture worked with PrixCar to design, supply, and install a large protective mesh canopy at their Forrestdale site in Western Australia. Spanning over seven hectares, the canopy helps protect thousands of vehicles each year from hail, harsh sunlight, and falling debris.
The structure is supported by strong hot-dip galvanised steel posts and anchored with reinforced concrete footings. The canopy itself is made from 95 gsm Quad Crossover mesh (a durable, UV-stabilised material that’s resistant to moisture and rot). Its special weave design helps absorb the impact of hail, provides shade, and allows rain to pass through without pooling.
After the main works were completed, Fabritecture returned to make adjustments, including raising several gate posts to improve clearance at key entry and exit points.
