The MSU John Goodman Amphitheatre was constructed to house a variety of cultural activities, including performing arts, events, and outdoor classes for Missouri State University students. The aim was to create a space that could accommodate a wide range of events such as concerts, plays, lectures, and other cultural activities.
The design of the amphitheatre needed to take into account the harsh outdoor elements such as rain, wind, and sun, as well as the need for proper sound absorption to ensure a high-quality audio experience for the performers and the audience. In order to meet these requirements, the team decided to use PVC TX30 material for the construction of the structure. PVC is known for its durability and resistance to weathering, making it an ideal choice for outdoor structures.
