Fabritecture was engaged by Acciona Georgiou Joint Venture (AGJV) to supply, deliver, and install a comprehensive scope of architectural screening and enclosure works at Hope Island station, one of three new stations delivered on the Gold Coast Line as part of the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority’s wider program.
Our scope encompassed perforated aluminium facade panels across the east and west platforms, lift shafts, stairs, and bicycle enclosures; galvanised mesh screening to platforms and stairs; locker mesh panels for platform enclosures; and selected gates and doors.
The perforated aluminium screens form a defining visual element of the station’s architectural character, with installation requiring coordinated works at height and planned track shutdowns to complete stair installations in the live Queensland Rail corridor.
