Four Winds Amphitheatre

In preparation for the 2012 Four Winds Festival, a ‘Sound Shell” with outdoor acoustic technology, was designed and constructed to replace the existing festival amphitheatre.

This project involved the design, supply and installation of a 4 cone conical structure for the event’s amphitheatre

The Sound Shell has a structural steel frame with a 3 coat paint system. The membrane selected for the structure is Sheerfill II PTFE, from Saint Gobain. Sheerfill II has the ability to transmit light and to bring the open outdoor, airy feeling of lighting indoors. 12015
