Macquarie University – Lotus Theatre

Fabritecture delivered the full turn-key design and construction of a customised fabric structure, which serves as an interim lecture theatre at Macquarie University in Sydney.

Fabritecture’s vast scope for the development included construction of the 700m2 theatre as well as tiered seating for up to 500 students, a fully integrated, state-of-the-art, IT and audio visual system, LED dimmable lighting, restroom amenities, a plant room, service corridors, entrance foyer and landscaping of the surrounding grounds. The structure is fully air conditioned (and insulated to meet BCA Section J standards) with CCTV security systems. 11120
