Encompassing a vast expanse of around 2,700m2 (28,535ft2), the Bank of Indonesia ETFE dome stands as an impressive architectural feat.
The selection of ETFE as the primary material was motivated by its remarkable ability to transmit high levels of both light and UV radiation. This characteristic facilitates the infusion of abundant natural light into the area beneath the dome.
In addition to the main dome, the project’s scope included the incorporation of several smaller conical canopies. These canopies, aptly named Water Harvest Canopies, not only added to the project’s overall visual appeal but also synergised seamlessly with its design and operational objectives. 22067
To meet the project's demands, we had to reimagine the possibilities of what could be delivered within the tight timeframe. Our solution compressed a typical 7-8 month Design and Construct schedule into an impressive 3-4 months!
