Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is now home to the most uniquely innovative architectural fabric structures on the Gold Coast. As part of the $670 million Pacific Fair redevelopment in 2016, Fabritecture was contracted by Scentre Group to deliver the design and construction of the steel & fabric for two custom architectural fabric structures.
In late 2017, the new Oran Park Library and Community Resource Centre underwent a AUD$13.8million redevelopment. The works included an artwork piece which specified a lightweight architectural ETFE facade at the front of the library. Fabritecture delivered the D&C of the ETFE pillows, supporting steelwork and ETFE air supply system.
Fabritecture was contracted for the design & construction of a 2-layer ETFE pneumatic cushion canopy suspended over the chancellery courtyard at the Embassy. The structure has designed to create an architectural piece that resembled a cloud ‘floating’ in the sky, but also to provide functional weather protection to the people in the courtyard below.
In 2015, the waterfront suburb of Elizabeth Quay in Perth’s CBD received a complete redevelopment as part of a rebrand for the Australian Capital City. Fabritecture was contracted for the design and construction of the ferry terminal canopy—scope of work included: structural steelwork, aluminium cladding and ETFE pneumatic two-layer cladding.
