The Ideal Candidate

Core Components of the Role

  • Identifying and researching new business opportunities
  • Staying well informed on market trends and the emerging needs of prospective clients
  • Providing administration support including assisting with coordination of training events, preparation of promotional material and managing travel arrangements
  • Providing support to the Business Development and Marketing team in lead generation, managing databases preparing tenders, proposals and requests for quotes from suppliers
  • Social media and marketing activities
  • Answering and redirecting inbound calls
  • Using your initiative and taking ownership of the smooth operation of the sales process

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • A ‘can do’, proactive attitude where you want to help others and understand the importance of your role
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred or other CRM, along with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience or interest in construction sales and business development
  • A desire for quality and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with manager that works remotely
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
