Fabritecture Took Home Two Awards in 2023!

What an incredible year we have had! We are very proud to announce that Fabritecture won a Special Commendation at the STA Industry Awards in 2023, and a Highly Commended at the 2023 Sustainability Awards! 2023 STA Awards Special Commendation (Internationally Fabricated Projects)

Introducing the MSU John Goodman Amphitheatre—an outdoor haven at Missouri State University. Purpose-built for diverse cultural experiences, this cutting-edge venue hosts concerts, plays, lectures, and more. Crafted with PVC TX30, renowned for durability, it stands resilient against rain, wind, and sun, ensuring top-notch acoustics for an immersive audience experience. Welcome to a space where outdoor elements meet exceptional performances!

National Throws Centre of Excellence

 

2023 Sustainability Awards; Highly Commended (Public Buildings)

Fabritecture was commissioned to design and construct a distinctive throws run-up canopy at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre (QSAC) in Nathan. The innovative conical structure seamlessly integrates with spiral patterns in the steel, creating a purposeful and visually striking facility for discus and hammer throwing, setting a new standard in athletic architecture.

Some of the Projects Completed in 2023!

Field of Dreams, Oxford Falls Grammar School

 

 Fabritecture was contracted for the design and construction of the bespoke canopy structure for the Field of Dreams project at Oxford Falls Grammar School in New South Wales, Australia. The concept design required weather protection for two competition playing courts located on the top floor of the two-storey facility.

Bank of Indonesia

 

Fabritecture was engaged for the design and construction of the Bank of Indonesia ETFE dome. Encompassing a vast expanse of around 2,700m2 (28,535ft2), the dome stands as an impressive architectural feat. The primary material of the dome, ETFE, was chosen for its remarkable ability to transmit high levels of both light and UV radiation.

The Bower Tree, Sippy Downs

 

Fabritecture were engaged for the design and construct of the impressive aluminium façade screens for the new Bower Tree dining precinct in Sippy Downs, Sunshine Coast. Using a creative and forward-thinking approach, the team crafted elegant curved panels and flat perforated panels for the main and parking structures, creating a captivating contemporary masterpiece.

Barangaroo Ghost Net Collective

 

Fabritecture was selected by Lend Lease to work on a wonderful project involving the installation of stunning artwork on behalf of Ghost Net Collective, a Cairns-based art company. The artwork, in the form of manta rays, is installed on the underside of the Barangaroo South ETFE Canopy, which we built a few years ago.

Milwaukee International Airport

 

Fabritecture brought creativity to life at the General Mitchell International Airport (GMIA) by designing, engineering, fabricating, delivering, and installing 21 stunning fabric and steel frames. These impressive PTFE/glass mesh panels now adorn the parking structure, adding a touch of modern elegance to the airport experience.

Kathleen Valley Lithium Storage 

 

Fabritecture installed a custom Supa-Span Curved fabric structure in Kathleen Valley for a lithium storage facility. These Supa-Span structures are suitable for temporary or permanent applications and offer customisation options. They are also meticulously engineered, designed, and manufactured in compliance with Australia's highest standards.
